Eggs are essential for baking. But how to you actually check if they have gone bad? Here a handy lifehack to solve this problem. Put your eggs in a bowl of water. If they they sink, they are are and ready for baking. If they they float, they are ready for your bin.

For many recipes you just need the egg white and have to separate the yolk from the egg. The easiest way to do it, is just grabbing a plastic bottle and sucking in the yolk. Yes it is that easy!

You dropped an eggshell into your dish and its slipping away while you want to remove it? Just wet your finger tip with a little bit of water and you can easily remove it. This is the last egg lifehack, I swear. 🤞

Your bananas are not ripe enough for baking? Just put them into the oven and bake them for 30 to 40 minutes at 150 degrees until they are deeply blacked and soft. Your banana bread will be the hit of the day!

5. Dental Floss - The Actual Usage

Creating cake layers can be annoying and it is hard to get the exact size you want. Not for us! Get some tooth picks and surround your cake at the same height with them. Then wrap dental floss around it and pull both ends until the cake is cut in half. Tada! you got two cake layers with the same size. 👩‍🍳 (PS. use unflavoured floss)
