Need an inspiration jump off point for your pottery adventure? Take a peek at some of the artists that inspire noah, and helped us build the Pottery Starter Kit.
Let’s begin with a noah favourite, Hani aka Gashtrays! Hani’s ceramic pieces need no introduction, she creates pieces which celebrate the ‘glorious curves, folds, and flaps of real bodacious bodies’.
Gashtrays aims to promote body positivity by challenging censorship and body-shaming, and let’s just say… WE ARE HERE FOR IT! Check out her pieces here, and continue celebrating what mama gave you.
Meet noah’s expert potter, Cameron! He's a London-based potter exploring form and surface. He has been making pots for 5 years inspired by the simple forms of East-Asian and mid-century European ceramics. He fell in love with the medium during an evening class while looking for a creative outlet.
What started as a personal journey into the world of pottery, Cameron now shares his passion for pottery through lessons, markets, and shows.
And now for some shameless noah promotion🤪 ... You can take part in a masterclass from our resident pot-head, where you can fully immerse yourself in the creative process alongside your pals! Check it out here.
If you’re a fan of teeny-tiny things, Danielle is the artist for you! Creator of ‘wee ceramic beasts & other wild things’, we just can’t get enough of her miniature sculptures. Best of all, you can wear her pieces as items of jewellery!
Stella creates stylishly playful ceramic vases, planters, and homeware that you’ll undoubtedly love! She has been creating these wonderful ceramic pieces for 7 years and is now an established presence on the handmade ceramic scene, operating contemporary ceramic studio, Atelier Stella.
Her creations usually feature cute but sophisticated smiling faces , with long noses and stamped markings. It’s hard not to smile right back at them!
Rami Kim is a Los Angeles based artist, who began a series of sculptures called ‘blobby’.
Blobby means birth: forming, reforming to exist, moving, and growing. Her work is whimsical, poetic, and chic. You can find anything from blob sculptures, lamps, mugs, and plant pots to the occasional pet figurine!
